Mission
We strive to provide holistic care to underserved communities. This care includes providing basic necessities such as food, clothes, and hygiene products. It also includes providing services needed in the particular location. Services may include medical care, mental health care, haircuts, legal support, and referrals to local partners if we are unable to provide that service.
In order to provide this holistic care, Houselessness Service Organization focuses on strengthening community. This is done through open communication, partnerships with local institutions, vendors, and services, and activities such as sharing home cooked meals. Rather than coming in from a position of higher power, Houselessness Service Organization would like to mobilize the community and share community resources to serve those most in need.
